Golden Gate Bridge and Ft Point Black and White
The Golden Gate Bridge brings out the romantic side in me. Much as it did in it's early years before the bridge was built sailors rejoiced at the sight of the Golden Gate knowing that they had finally completed the Journey to the Golden State, California. That's how I felt when I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and first saw the Golden Gate Bridge and finally had the chance to put my feet in the salty water of the Pacific Ocean. I had arrived.
I've watched the sunset and the sunrise many times over that bridge and it will always cause me to reflect on the years since.
I hope that you enjoy this as much as I had capturing the image and converting it into this black and white image.
