Golden Gate Bridge and Ft Point
There's something about being around the Golden Gate Bridge. It's placement between hills on both sides of the San Francisco Bay leave scenic views from most any angles. The pacific Ocean on one side and the San Francisco Bay on the other is just full of natural beauty.
Ft Point is where Crissy Fields comes to an end followed by a thin stretch of saltwater splashed pavement. From this view you can see the damage caused by the saltwater on these thick steel chains.
Ft Point sits at the mouth of the bay placed there to protect the San Francisco days many years ago. And of course, the Golden Gate Bridge, what a sight. Standing as a link between the bustling city and the rural, rustic, Marin County.
I love to get here early and see the warm glow of the sun lighting up the bridge and then again at night as the sun sets on the other side of the bridge and a promise of more images to come from another time in the future.
