I went out at 3am to photograph The Milky Way over the East Texas tree line. The moon had set earlier, the skies were clear and the immediate location was free of lights from houses, street lights, etc., which set the stage for this view of the sky. The distant lights enhance the silhouette of the tree line below.

I had the opportunity to build a pinhole camera from scratch and then use it to make photographs which I developed in the dark room.
