I am intrigued with water and clouds... Movement... I don't necessarily like to only photograph a scene as it can be seen by the naked eye... I use long exposures to take movement and blur it which can create a beautiful look that has been described as ethereal, ghostly, calm, etc... I love images that have a simplicity to them. Lengthening the exposure to smooth out movement in the sky and water can take a chaotic scene and turn it simple and calm and allow the focus to be on the simplicity of the subject I am photographing.
